Common questions
Does a slip reset everything?
No — and it never will. A slip restarts the live "time free" counter, but your wins, money saved, and body-healing milestones are all kept. Nothing un-heals and nothing is taken away.
Where does my data live?
On your device. There's no account, no server, and your logs, triggers, money, and "why" never leave your phone. The optional "share anonymous usage" toggle only sends which features get used — never your data.
How do backups work?
Settings → Your data → "Back up my data" saves everything as a single file. Keep it in Files or iCloud Drive, and restore it on this or any new device.
Can I switch between cold turkey and taper?
Anytime, in Settings → Approach — you keep all your progress. Taper targets are yours to set and change; nothing is prescribed.
How do I log without opening the app?
Add the Halcyra widget to your Home or Lock Screen, or say "Log use in Halcyra" to Siri. You can also put the reset on your Action Button via the Shortcuts app.
I quit before I installed the app — can I set that?
Yes. Settings → "When you quit" lets you set your real quit date and time, and your progress counts from there.
How do I start over on purpose?
Settings → "Start a fresh attempt" restarts your counter, healing timeline, and money-saved from now, while keeping your history. That's different from a slip — a slip never resets anything.
What's free and what's paid?
Everything that helps you quit is free, permanently: logging, your streak, the urge reset, the healing timeline, backups, and your history. If we ever add paid extras, they'll only ever be deeper analysis on top.
